Hello all. I wasn’t sure if I was going to post something. I thought maybe I would wait until Game of Thrones. Instead, I want to talk about a documentary series my Uncle has been lending me. PBS put out a box set of the presidents of the United States. Each week, he gives me a new president.
So far, I have watched Clinton, Bush, Reagan, and Carter. Each president gets over 2 hours of material. The thing about this series I really enjoy is how un-bias it is. They cover every good and bad thing that happened. The only gripe I have had so far is during the Reagan documentary they glossed over quite a bit of the protesting and public outrage over some of his choices and opinions. They had a sort of montage for around 5 minutes discussing it. But, overall, a great series with information that is either not in history books or maybe just something you forgot. I promise you will learn at least several things with each one.
I am not sure how to rate the series. Not only have I not watched every president but also they are each self-contained shows. I guess for pure value I would say A.
I hope everyone is doing well and having a good weekend. Take care all.
