So, as I am not feeling any better as of yet, I will be making a shorter journal entry. It is due to me being sick though, that I have watched quite a bit of TV. Mostly, the normal stuff, Colbert Report, The Daily Show, wrestling, but add to that a TON of DVDs/Blu-Rays. Most recently of which I decided to get around to season 2 of Heroes.
I actually enjoyed the first season quite a bit, I just honestly was at a weird time in my life when the second season was on TV, and never really got around to buying it. Not too long ago I found it in the store, bought it, and it promptly sat on my shelf for months. So, what better time than now to sit back and watch? Boy was I sorry. Now, the first season was not exactly God’s gift to television, but I did enjoy it quite a bit. So much so that my arena team name in wow was, like the title of this post, Save The Cheerleader. Disappointingly, the second season was just extremely boring. Why was it they decided to forget all about season one? Why was there no character development? Why are there so many new people on the screen and I don’t seem to care about anyone? Why are there similar powers? Why does the acting seem so poorly done? Oh look there’s Quinn from Glee! Yes, that is right, the most exciting thing in one episode for me was that I saw Quinn. Why is this so slow???
This show… to put it bluntly, is terrible. I don’t even want to say much else because I really do not want to hate it. I really did enjoy the first season, but this was almost unwatchable. What really stinks is that I was excited to get the third season because I heard it was entitled Villains, and i love comic book villains. At this rate though, I might be better staying away from this show altogether.
Even harder than watching this season is trying to give it a grade. So many issues, but it is still unique. I am going to say C- and I think that is very generous of me.
Thought I would add a picture of my arena team name as proof, figured someone might get a kick out of it too.
